Palmetto CAP team members are the best! We recently celebrated all of our team members with milestone anniversaries in 2020. We appreciate the hard work, dedication and years of experience each person brings to the organization!
Mrs. Gilliard has worked in the Weatherization Department of our Palmetto CAP team for 40 years now!!! What a testament to her commitment and service of people! She is a joyful, wise and unwavering asset to our team. We are overwhelmed with gratitude that you have chosen to serve with us for 40 years Mrs. Gilliard! We appreciate you, and this community is better because of you. Thank you sincerely for all that you do!
Ms. West is our Asset Building Director and she has been with our Palmetto CAP team for 20 years now! We are so grateful for the heart and creativity that she brings to our organization. She has a passion to see everyone in our community become financially literate, successful and self-sufficient and she pursues this goal daily. Did we mention that she is also back in school pursuing her graduate degree? Ms. West you set the bar high! We know that countless people have been positively impacted by your 20 years of service, and we thank you for all that you do!
Mr. Brown has worked in the Weatherization Department of our Palmetto CAP team for 15 years now! Not only does he work hard, and well, but he also shows genuine care for everyone he serves. We feel very fortunate to have him on our Palmetto CAP team as we work to meet the needs of Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester residents. Thank you for your service Mr. Brown!
Ms. Sahadeo has worked in the Outreach Department of our Palmetto CAP team for 5 years now! She is a valuable asset to our team and we are so glad to have her on board as we serve Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester residents. Thanks for all you do Ms. Sahadeo, we are better because of you!

This department provides financial literacy classes, one-on-one budgeting sources, free VITA tax preparation and housing stability.
