Palmetto Community Action Partnership is now accepting applications for the Weatherization Apprenticeship Program starting in August. This is a 6-month paid apprenticeship program for young adults ages 18–25 who are interested in construction, skilled trades, energy efficiency, and hands-on career training. Participants will receive classroom instruction, job readiness support, and hands-on work experience in the weatherization field.
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 25, live in Charleston, Berkeley, or Dorchester County, meet program eligibility requirements, and provide required documentation, including identification, Social Security card, and household income verification.
