Palmetto CAP offices remain closed Monday due to flooding. Individuals who have appointments during the agency's closing will be contacted by Palmetto CAP to set up a new appointment time upon the agency's re-opening.

The General Emergency Assistance Program has expended all funds allocated for the residents of Dorchester and Charleston Counties. Appointments to apply for this program will not be scheduled until further notice.

Dorchester County residents in need of rent assistance are asked to call the 2-1-1 Hotline as all funds for that program have currently been expended.
This department provides financial literacy classes, one-on-one budgeting sources, free VITA tax preparation and housing stability.
